So we're preparing to put on this grand show and I couldn't be happier because I'm a performer. And the one thing you come to terms with is that a crowd may be smaller than you'd like.
In our heads we imagine vast stadiums overflowing with excited people who all came to see you. Their energy would flow into you and you would give the performance of a lifetime. That's the dream.
But reality is different and more times than not, the crowd might be underwhelming. But should that effect your performance? Yes. It should make you even more exuberant.
Out of all the people in the world, these few came to see you. These few prized you so much that they took time out of their day to watch you give it your all. These few are your audience and they deserve a show to end all shows.
This Saturday we're going to give it our all and whether it's 100 people or 15, I'll be proud and humbled that they chose me.
